Start with the dataset catalog to choose data. The agency pages below explain access, service behavior, and research notes.

  • NOAA: weather, climate, radar, satellites, ocean observations, and post-event aerial imagery.
  • USGS: water observations and earthquakes.
  • FEMA: disaster declarations by state and county.
  • EPA: air quality monitoring, which needs a free key.
  • Census Bureau: American Community Survey estimates by state and county, which need a free key.
